Wow. I've only just caught up with this and I have to say, it's really amazing what you've done so far.
I did quite like the old style too, but it does make quite a stellar contrast from the bold and primary colors of the origin through to the bleaker expanse of the open world.
Really like the different shades of ocean depth as well.
Thanks, but I'm sticking with my current one. See, While I liked how strong the older ones looked, they were always really limiting with color. When I wanted to color bigger things, outside of the can, I had to make my lines really thick so that the colors wouldn't become overall flat. So, the way I color now makes it much easier to color everything to have shape and texture, like the sea in this picture and the mechanical objects everywhere. Still, though, on finer details like the blob and the girl, Ive been trying to use a detail brush to get some of those strong details from before without clashing. You might see some variations in them from one picture to the next, it's something Im working on.
So I was saving these to my computer to show to my friends (since I like it so much), and I realized that the new style looks almost faded and without contrast compared to the old one. The old one looks crisper, cleaner, and has a very unique style. You should go back to it.
