When you're a socially-liberal Christian trying to make a comic for children of mostly conservative parents, you gotta tread very carefully sometimes. I knew this particular denomination didn't allow for “graven images” of Jesus, so the victim of property theft here is a “church across town” (that happens to be Catholic). Also I didn't want to make the enemies Satanists or paganists, so here they're just a secular group specializing in edgy, provocative art.

And yes, that's Cassie with brown hair and a different name.
