Someone commented on my accuracy on the planes . . . . I'll tell you a secret - I couldn't draw planes before this comic. But I've always liked them, seeing as my dad is an engineer for the air force, and I freakin grew up in Dayton, Ohio!

Sadly, though, the Air Force Museum only has two spitfires, a mk. XI and mk. V. The plane in this comic was originally a mk. VIII, but later became a V-B, out of necessity for the time period.

On a side note, I've been here (the hall of mirrors in Versailles), though it was after I drew this page. It was under renovation at the time as well.
