426-430 : The most hypocritical panel of all time.

Yeah, I know on one level I have no right to poke fun at the “veterans,” those comics that have been around since BEFORE Sprite Comics became the gimmick-of-the-week. They're the measuring sticks by which others are measured, and some (like 8-Bit Theater) have kept a consistent level of quality and random humor for quite some time.

Others paint the image that it's okay to not have your main characters even pretend to animate for the better part of a week straight and all you need is two sprites, four voice bubbles and a fan following and you're good to go.

Maybe the standard level of your typical ‘make ten pages then give up’ Sprite Comic would be higher if that wasn't considered an acceptable “measuring stick.”

But I know I'm not much better. I just have larger panels and more commonly switched backgrounds. My ability to NOT get creative with Sprite Animation is rapidly becoming the stuff of legends. :P
