While things will still be lighthearted for awhile, the adventure is (finally!) getting on the path to being serious. After one more major burst of goofiness, the tone of the tale should abruptly change in another few dozen panels.

And at that time, I suspect the story will finally get some focus beyond “wander around aimlessly and watch Dr. Wily get killed by the power of the Mishima Zaibatsu.”

… not that there's anything WRONG with that, I suppose. I just think it's about time I test my creativity beyond that level, that's all.
