#150 - Metal Gear Insubstantial (Part 1)

Twin on Dec. 30, 2007

I have a lot of things to say this week, so we're gonna have to go into point form just to cover them all.

- I know, I missed last week's update. In my defence, it was Christmas Eve, and I totally meant to have something up during the week. It's just that I, uh…didn't.
- I know (also): two 10-parters going at once? MADNESS.
When you're confronted with MM Zero-based Solid Snake, there is really nothing else you can do.
- I am amused by Snake being forced to listen to J-Pop by Otacon via his codec. I am amused by Otacon in general, really.
- What do you mean, you've never played Metal Gear Solid? Get your fuckin' ass out of here. Go down to your local game store, pick up a copy of Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes (GCN0, or the original PSX version if you can find it (and which I think is better), and PLAY THE DAMN THING. You are missing out on gaming art here.
- Now, I'm not the type of person who goes looking for slash pairings in my entertainment, but seriously: Snake/Otacon is practically canon. You could cut the sexual tension between them with a KNIFE…at least from Otacon's side, anyway.
- I'd do Snake. Hell yeah, I'd do Snake!
- Those Codec boxes were mildly inconvenient to do.
- I should probably do another comic this week to make up for last week's missed one, huh.
- Woo, 150 comics! Let's hope I can get to 200 without going on another hiatus! Wooooo!

Enjoy the comic, and Happy New Year!
