Previously, on Starship Captain III: Captain Star escaped from the Hellspawn Beelzebub cruiser (with help) and is now on an unknown colony world, aboard a mobile that's heading for the colony base. With him is Pilot Officer Karl Ruger whom Star had believed dead, and perhaps he was, Ruger can't explain exactly how he's here. The other passengers aboard the mobile are Hellspawn spies—agents trained by the Devils to infiltrate, compromise, sabotage. Star has convinced the transport's crew that he is a Devil in human guise, one of the infiltrators….
