Previously, on Starship Captain III: deep breath Captain Star is now on a colony world far from Terra, whose administrator has told him about the mysterious alien Overlords who have taken over the base, using Rigellian mercenaries as their hired guns. Star was challenged by the merc leader but booted one of the Overlords in the nethers instead. This earned him a severe beating but his uniform, given to him aboard the Hellspawn ship before he came here, protected him. Another colonist just arrived in the empty storage space and warned the administrator that the mercs or the Overlords might easily kill them for this….
