Previously, on Starship Captain III: Captain Star recalls events that took place on the Moon some years previously when a new generation of androids were involved in a catastrophic event. Admiral Tsien is dead but an exact copy of her seems to command the androids, who are armed and belligerent. It would appear they have developed a procedure to raid the memories of humans so they can duplicate and impersonate the originals. An android is assigned to duplicate Star but after it makes contact and copies his memories, the android reacts as if Star has been keeping something back….

A sneaky little edit or two, transport shuttles added to the external moonbase scenes – how else could Star suggest to the other starship captains that they return to their ships? – and the x-phone actually rings. Brain is a little sluggish sometimes!
