Holy cats! Starsign is back! It's times like this whole last month that makes me wish the website was actually…done. I wanted to update everyone to let people know I'm not dead and that I haven't stopped working on Starsign, but alas!

About the page: It should appear to be significantly brighter, I actually made a few prints of the first 15 pages and bound them to see how they'd look on comic paper and it turned out they were way too dark. I spent forever adjusting the colours and got them to a place I could be happy with. The Starsign site will have these brighter ones, but because Drunk Duck hates people updating things, I'm not going to bother putting them up here. Anyway, I spent longer working on this page, trying to make the inks a bit more dynamic while still keeping that gritty look, and I spent longer working out the lighting. I'm pretty pleased with it :)

About my absence: For the last month or so I've been working on my portfolio for art school. Having never really taken an art class before, I wasn't quite sure what to include in my portfolio. I ended up making some new things, getting some prints of digital stuff, and teaching myself to paint. It was quite the ordeal but my interview is over. I'll be finding out if I was accepted to the Art Institute of Boston in a week or two, probably. *crosses fingers* I hope I get in.

I'm going to be updating regularly again, probably not the every day to every other day I was doing for a while, but I'd like to get a couple of pages done every week. I've also got a 3 panel jokey kind of comic going up here on DD later that I need to work on some more.
