12: Night Moves

Starving Artists is back, and today is the dawning of a new and glorious era. Read my FIVE PAGE UPDATE starting here.

So, yeah. Instead of doing full-color stuff like I do over at Try Everything Once, I'm trying something new: Spot color. But I'm not going to stick to one color per page– instead, I'm doing one color per person. I'm not sure if it's gonna work out, but hey, that's what SA is for, right? It's kind of a testing ground for art styles that you're still experimenting with. It is for me, anyways.

As for the story, I must have set a record or something by introducing four characters in one update. Though my own self probably doesn't count. And General Zaroff is just a reworked character from SA1; he was just too good a character to go to waste.

Anyways, my brain is fried and my pants are hot from ‘shopping these pages (what? My tablet laptop was in my lap, like, all day), so I’m gonna end this before I get too verbose. Later!

Sincerely,

Ian Jay

PS: On the old SA, whenever I updated, I would usually have to apologize shortly afterwards. Here, I'm going to apologize in advance instead: I, Ian Jay, am sorry for offending anyone, ruining anyone's plans, and basically just taking a sh** all over whatever anyone else may consider this comic to be about. It was my fault and no one else's, and you may stone me or firebrand me or whatever it is that you do to people who reject conformity. Sorry.

PPS: By the by, can we do something about this page design? I mean, this is just me, but I think we can come up with something a little more inventive than just a default template.
