Chasing Leads 2

When I set out to post another section of this story, I read the prose to find a logical breaking point for pacing and to fit a page. After that, I'm often stumped for what to draw. But sometimes, a bit of imagery is so striking, I have to attempt to capture it visually.
Martina's inner monologue provides many such images.

And I almost ran over a raccoon last night! My lights freaked out the little bandit after it had already crossed the road and and it bolted back across right as I got even with it. I woulda cried had I hit it...

I'd like to see a Bobcat... and a Cougar... from a decent distance! :D

I haven't ever seen a raccoon in the wild. Saw a bear, rattlesnake, a few opossums, a bunch of beavers, deer, fox squirrels, skunks... No raccoons. No bobcats either. I want to see a bobcat.

Martina sounds she should find another line of work! :D Personally, I think I'd probably enjoy a job like this! Neato Cabin here!

Thanks! Martina probably likes it too. She gets to take-advantage of people she sees as inferior. XD

It's right out of Lil Abner even down to the corncob pipe.

Aside from the pipe and the needed home repairs, it kinda looks like paradise. Lol

I'm not sure how good a pet a raccoon would be.

They are clever animals. Think dog but with dexterous hands and no obedience. Not usually aggressive. They can be tamed but tame animals are not domesticated, so they are unpredictable and destructive.
