The Recharger

So we have another talky-talky page, geez. Sorry about it being so late, I had my first commission to do which was a challenge.
I’m probably gonna have to work on planning my pages better so I can fit all that text in, eh? Also, Kairo had nothing to worry about because if there’s one thing Kat’s not ashamed of, it’s her colourful self. (Most of the time ;)
Baby Kat’s pale and sick because of not having enough sunlight inside. Like she said, it was super difficult to maintain that healthy state on her own. I know this is all VERY science fiction-y and may not be very logical, but I’m just havin’ fun, yo! Like when Stan Lee invented the Hulk, he said “He turns into a monster because of gamma rays!” His co-worker asked how that worked, to which Stan replied: “I don’t know, but it sounds cool, doesn’t it?”

Hey, not bad at all! I mean, I don't include much dialogue in a panel (often a speech balloon per frame) but I need to learn to arrange it better because future chapters will include too much dialogue XD. About the plot, I'm very intrigued about the sunlight thing. It sounds cool and as you said, you don't have to be very logical at all ;)

Thank you! We’re both learning eh? I’m glad you’re into the plot, cause it’s gonna start going places now that we’ve established a lot of things

So if she learns to control her powers better she can absorb light on her own without hurting herself and not need the machine?

I’m afraid her body has completely adapted to the machine—it’s much faster than if she was absorbing it naturally. It’s more a matter of her slowly becoming stronger so she can use her abilities a lot more without hurting herself.
