#05 Avenging A Hero

Peach is pissed! But she is soon informed of the horror that has befallen her Mario. Now she must explain this to the chancellor. Ya know I really should have made the chancellor in this comic to be like Emperor Palpatine. But I decided to have him be like he was in the game. I'm trying to keep things the way they were in the comic as much as I can. I'll change what I can get away with. I made Peach to be a little more of a take charge girl than in the game in which she was kinda slow. You know what I mean…
You may have noticed in my past comics in this series the text may have been a little hard to read. I have started something new in the middle of this comic. I have started putting in drop shadows under the text so it is more visible and easier to read. Hope that helps!!!

I changed my mind on the background image altogether. I have used to bricks for the background image and I have used black for the border background because it blends in with the black parts of the comic that I left blank.

Fine. But it will have to wait until a couple comics from now because I'm almost done with the next one. I've fallen way behind with my buffer.

if you want to center your background add background-position: center; in the body class. But a word of caution. Your background is huge. Be aware of all your file sizes. You don't want people with a slow connection to be alienated. The drop shadow really helps your text stand out. most of it is really unreadable. maybe more drop shadows and a semi transparent bubble would help.

Yeah, I really want to know how to center the background image instead of tile it. I'll just have to make a wider one then.

Use bubbles, not just text
