@Mr Kaos: That's an anime/manga thing, although some people do get nosebleeds if the heart rate goes up enough. Hydro's not one of them. @taltamir: Hydro wasn't depressed; he was angry. Keep in mind that obviously there were good memories associated with the scarf as well, or he would have tossed it a long time ago. Hydro's fairly complex under the surface having been dealing with some long-standing issues which both Psycha and Skully have been touching on. @benjin: Yeah, I was shooting for a quick way to break Hydro outta his funk. ;)
