Where we've got to: Using his magical dagger, wandering monk Uesugi transported himself back in time to when The General was a scheming young samurai and ENDED HIM so The General never exists in the future and causes untold harm. Meanwhile in that future, mere seconds ago, Yuki's cat Tetsu has been rescued from the guillotine as Uesugi distracted The General, by the tall robed being only known as… The Arbiter. But as they make their escape, hoping to avoid questioning by curious guards, something happens….
