And now the lesbian sex scene between Searsha and Larya. The comic has to earn that “M” rating. I can't use the term lesbian in the comic. It has too specific an origin and the island of Lesbos probably isn't called that yet. Lots of filters and shadows and strategically placed speech balloons but still not a “T”.

I tossed out the original dialogue for this whole sequence and have been mulling it over and over. The images were finished early last week, but I hated the original dialogue as it served little purpose as far as the story line. So Larya is leading up to something but first– sex. Sex can soften up a partner for a difficult conversation.

Larya and Searsha met when Searsha was a courtesan and Larya her maid. They became BFF but did not become lovers until they were in the sorceress school in Nasnor. It is subtly encouraged among the students so they learn about themselves and experience and share magical energy. Often the bonds they make there will serve them during their careers and it fosters a feeling of sisterhood. Though forbidden marriage or long-term monogamous relationships some sorceresses bond to another in a casual long-distance relationship like Searsha and Larya. It also strengthens the bonds of sisterhood between sorceresses. Petty disputes, divas and selfishness are not tolerated, but occasional bitchiness is expected.

There are only about seven or eight pages remaining in Book One. It's about four issues of a standard comic.
