And they kiss as the goddess of the dawn spreads her rosy fingers across the sky as the god of the sun shows himself beginning his ride across the sky.

I read in various forums that the best way to depict a gay or lesbian couple was to do them not as a “token ” gay or lesbian couple but as a couple who just happen to be same sex. That is hopefully what I managed to pull off here.
