And in the waiting room outside Trish Foley's busy office the casting call for new faces to appear in the continuation of Sword of Kings goes out and hopefuls queue up.
Well there's one familiar face who's over on Belle_s Best in G.O.O.B.
But the two others? Well one hasn't been seen since her stunt work way back in Attack of the Robofemoids but she does look familiar. You mean she's been hiding out among the day players of Belle's movies all this time? Her cover day job, so to speak. Yes, KimLuster, that's Kimber Lee at her “cover” day job. She doesn't use her real name and changes her hair a little but she's a great stunt actor.
Or maybe she was cast in a cheapo B-movie on a goof before she got ill. It was filming in Texas and they went out to some bars to find unknowns willing to take their shirts off on camera. Everybody wants to be in the movies. Sort of like the story behind her tramp stamp. And she just didn't connect Belle's on-stage persona to the woman she met in the bar later. It happens a lot. This plain person eating breakfast – then the double take– hey. that's Robert Plant! And the wife says, “who?” And I say “No, Led Zeppelin”
— Note: the sweater really was knitted by my grandmother in 1962 or so for my older sister's Barbies. Kelly Nu is an Amerasian. I value ethnic diversity among my figures.
"Casting" new "actors" for SoK? How do you do their expressions? You paint directly in their faces or you use a 2D program like Photoshop? It's great, anyway :)
Photoshop. Human faces move a lot so there is a lot of adjustment made too. The eyes, the side of the mouth, and eyebrows. Eyebrows are very expressive.
Michael Caine tells a story when interviewed about meeting Sean Connery waiting in line for free food when they were both starting out and starving actors.
Not a bad plan actually, for a Bravo flick -- though this is less of a boobfest than those other works. That's a pretty good likeness with your Kimber Lee figure!
She gave most of it away. I only grabbed a handful of stuff when I lived with her in the early 1990s. My Legos went to my nephews. You'll see some things they built and there's a couple of vintage red and white blocks in there.
Haha I love it!! So awesome! Super neato about that sweater too! Ya know, I was thinking what sort of cover jobs KL might ever get into!! A scene requiring a 100 topless extras!! Probably will be a winter shoot! :D

It amazes me all the different expressions you can portray on your figures

That is why it might backfire.

Please have them go into the office naked. lol Cool that your sisters' Barbie clothes (homemade vintage!) are still getting good use!
