[25] No Better Way to Travel
naomi anonyme on April 8, 2008
I finished a page on time - hurray! I may extend my update schedule to two (or three?) days a week instead of just one if I can draw up enough pages to keep a healthy buffer… but I'm more interested in getting these out on time than I am in how many times I update.
I've been looking forward to drawing this page for a long time. ^^“
PS: I'm really happy with how this page turned out.. especially the water, clouds and boat. Originally the page was going to be the four small panels (larger, of course), but then I really wanted to try drawing a boat, and the Thomas/Perahawen panel makes me giggle. ^^”

Very nice boat! I both agree and disagree with Magicalmisfit. I agree that it can burn you out. Definately watch out for that, but I disagree (in a way) in that I feel you really should try and constantly push your art. Try new stuff, try different things and see if you can incorporate them into your current art. If it doesn't work, fine, at least you tried. But if it does, then you're that much better than you were before. If you don't see how much you can chew, how will you know how big your mouth is? (Or, something like that... heheh)

I was worried when the old artist left. But I really like your art too! Cute page! In fact, I think your colors may be a bit better!
