Just a little jab at skill allotting for D&D… I always give my characters “Read” as a skill, but my DMs never utilize it.

The way I see it, there's no reason for Thomas and Ulythia to have more than basic knowledge of written language - they grew up in a fishing town, after all - and it's interesting to see how lacking that skill can really mess someone up in the “real world.”

Or at least *my* world.

Anyway…

Sorry for the serious lack of updates lately. I've been doing my best to get over being sick AND to be a better student this semester, which doesn't leave me much time for anything beyond the daily routine of “eat-bathe-dress-class-work-homework-sleep.” That said, I'm posting this page early, and since the next one is only a three-panel deal, I'll post that as a bonus/thank-you either tonight or tomorrow. SCORE!

Ulythia's hair is considerably *redder* now, as an experiment to see whether changing the color from Raspberry (which is almost dead) to Crimson (of which I've an abundant supply) is acceptable. What do you think?
