This comic is an homage to Bil Keane's Family Circus during the times when Billy would “take over” and create comics based on homonyms.
I play a few MMOs where gold pharming - selling game gold for Real Money - is illegal. And when I hear “pharming” my brain translates it to “farming” and the comic is pretty much the image in my head.
