Star Strip page 49

Third page for the week. One page away from the magic fifty of actual content as opposed to peeks behind the curtain. Speaking of fifty I turned that magic number yesterday. Please no birthday wishes. I still have to wade through the flood of them on FB. Now if only I could get a flood like that for any of my comics. Alas being in a niche of a niche of a niche no such luck.
As of now I realized that with all the scribbles all over the shooting script and notes to myself on Post-it notes it was time for a re-write. If you only knew how much the script changed while I'm assembling the pages. Constantly adding reactions and little bits to help the plot along. I still can't get over the habit of trying to explain everything so there are a lot of scenes happening simultaneously and yet there are some characters that vanish for a time to reappear and I wonder just what the flog were they doing all that time? So in come a series of scenes to explain that.
Past couple of pages I fell into the trap of loving the finished panels so much that I ended up with big page wide panels as opposed to cramming in as many panels as possible to move the scene along. But they're so pretty pity to cram them into a corner.
As established in Battle of the Robofemoids, Aordians are seen as being pedantic types who will correct any mis-statements. What an Aussie like Ozoneocean would call a wanker. Some get the impression that they are nose-in-the-air, more-perfect-than-thou, we-live-the-way-everyone-should and you should follow our prefect example types. Common perception hence Lon's baiting Jen.

I always have the same problem, with constant rewrites and such. I always start out with what I think is an awesome story, but then I keep getting more ideas how to make it even awesomer as production drags on. It's one of the many hazards of webcomics, because it takes so long to make 'em!

This gives new meaning to the term "shock troops!" Oh Lon, you loveable, diabolical genius! May your soul burn in hell.

50 pages, fifty years? Coincidence? Or secret government plot? Who knows. Happy birthday again :)

Seems like a good choice to me - they definitely don't deserve to be crammmed into a corner.

They make love with PANS?

From the looks of it, Halsey will be taking point. Unless the Surprise has a predominantly female security detachment, in which case it should be Eomer. Instead of soothing Frank's fragile male ego, Jill should have just said "do more sit-ups!"

lol yeah she's being Aordianly pedantic. When your species only has two sexes, bisexual=pansexual! Interesting the insinuation that Jill might get jealous but instead it's Frank who seems a little miffed at the attention his gal is giving those male chests. Anyway... another great looking page!
