And Rickover remains Rickover. He's lost crew in a most inhumane fashion but it's not all bad, there's a beautiful naked woman in bondage to oogle. The facial expressions on this page were particularly fun to do. It took a bunch of re-writes to keep the thoughts concise but expressive enough. If you believe there will ever be some kind of reconciliation between Jenny and Rickover, you'd be hopelessly wrong. The speech and thought balloons are strategically placed but also that was the only place to put them! Jenny's exclamation “oh sorceress” is a reference to her culture's mythology of a famous line of female mages going back into the distant past. The most famous was Searsha the Claw and Jenny's SIG commander is a namesake. Searsha was the main character in the unfinished fantasy Go a Viking!

I finished my FYC pages for the DD awards and they feature the debut of my Nimoy-Spock, however my Uhura look-alike figure is packed away so there's a gueststar from another scifi franchise, a Lieutenant Trinity.

Thanks again for everyone reading and commenting. I can't respond to the comments from last time because they left me speechless. Thank you. Wow, thanks. Got to find what I'm doing right and bottle it for future use. If I'm ever stuck just take a swig and I'll be good for a few more panels.

With my change in schedule I'm a lot busier at work so I often only work on pages five minutes at a time. Maybe that gives me time in between to think stuff over in my feeble attempt to reach some higher level.

There are no more “how it's done” pages so Friday I can either put up the fyc pages or another page of the story. Your call.
