Remember how this all started over 100 pages ago with Beverly and the small cargo ship Keep it Simple? Got to wrap that up. What has Bev been doing all this time? After all Jenny did release her from her slave belt. Beverly minded her own business. S.I.G. operatives are like the FBI/CIA Special Forces all rolled into one so they tell you to mind your own business; you do. And as said here, she really didn't do anything wrong and her statement has been taken and she probably won't need to appear in court. Why would she? If you can record memories and play them back the witness need not appear. They just have to be gathered as soon after the incident as possible to avoid confabulation and the like.
A little time has passed as indicated by Jenny's costume change and her having packed her gear from the Keep it Simple. Beverly finally gets to wear her outfit the way it's meant to be worn with the intense plunging neckline. The also starts the wrap-up of Vera's arc. She wanted a clean break. She was just too broken up by everything that happened and just didn't want to talk to Jenny. From the dialogue I hope you get the inference that Vera did talk to Beverly and Aura. There are a couple of things I tried to infer. Aura is older than Jenny. She also has more time in grade so technically outranks her. However, Aura was a pilot and is brand new to S.I.G. so Jenny is the mission commander. As stated earlier when Aura confronted Nakkar, Aura has two children. As of this time their age is undetermined. Aura is at least 50, Jenny is in her 30's. Aordians age much slower than Earthers do once they reach full adult maturity around age 23. Commonly they look around 40 when they're over 100.
A bit of back story for them? So far all I've figured is that Jenny and Aura both commanded reserve ships in the last Diamorian war with brevet promotions to captain. After the war they returned to their permanent rank of lieutenant commander with Aura returning to flight status and Jenny joining S.I.G. Jenny did serve a few really nasty assignments late in the war and after which led her to try to leave as depicted in Battle of the Robofemoids. Aura has two children by two different fathers which is typical since there is no monogamy or marriage in Aordian culture. Though Jenny has just had a relationship with another woman, she does prefer men. All Aordians in our terminology are bi-sexual. That's about as far as I've gotten. Though I really want to do more with them as characters. And take off their shirts lots of times. I want Nakkar and Aura to become unlikely friends with Jenny to drift in and out of relationships and Nakkar remaining kinky.

Suddenly, I feel there will be a final scene on the bridge where some one makes a sarcastic or funny remark and every one laughs and the scene fades to black...

Aw...some sadness and loss here...no adventure means anything without a bit of that. Great poses!

Good starting-to-wrap-things-up scene! Jen's hurt expression is heart-string pulling, esp. after seeing badass and tough she can be!

Well, don't just stand there. Go after her!

Sometimes people prefer not to say goodbye... been there... how interesting a bi-sexual society... imagine all the people living life in peace... you may say I'm a beaner, but I'm not the only Juan...

It's an effective scene shift. It feels like all the craziness of the last few pages is millions of miles in the rear view mirror. Too bad that things couldn't be worked out with Vera, but maybe they'll meet again sometime?
