I always felt it was releasing to depict personal tragedies in my comic, but then I've always done it as an element to a fiction story, rather than straight biography. I can see how the latter would be stressful.
I'll miss reading Tera Forming, but I really hope I don't have to miss "I heart artists" I'm pretty sure I can speak for everyone when I say, we love having you around, even if you're not updating.
eh, but then again, you'll be updating something again eventually I'm sure. Once you've had the sickly sweet taste of semi-anonymous praise for something you've created who can resist the siren song of webcomics?
Wow. Feels like a death in the family. Hope you'll still be around encouraging and commenting on other people's comics. I know I for one will miss Tera Forming.
Tera,
Your insights, your thoughts, baring your soul, questioning, and searching, your journey has brought enjoyment, wonder, humor, and sadness into my life. For your courage in sharing intimate details of your life my admiration, your talent with the written word, both my admiration and my envy, your art defiantly my envy.
May The Lady and Lord grant you a clear path to the successes you deserve, give you rest and renewal as you continue your journey.
Blessed Be, Walk In Light.
Steve

That was the greatest strip out of all your 100 :) And it was a very brave and astute journey, too. I feel honoured for sharing. I do hope you will stick around though, and share what we create for you this time- and maybe in a little while, you decide to make a strip that is a little less close to the quick. Excellent work. Already thought of with a fond smile!
Ok Tera now that I've had time to calm down I can pt more than one word.
You have been a great friend and I usually stayed up quite late some nights awaiting your reply to a message or your comment on my comics.
I hope you'll continue reading comics on DrunkDuck at "O'Dark thirty" in the morning with your Fig Newtons and a hot Cup of Cocoa.
I heart Tera
You were (and still are) awesome Tera. Hope to see ya every now and then.
Kinda sucks... I've been with this comic since the beginning... hell I think you were one of the first on me friends list.
...
WOW.
Tera, you have been an incredible presence here on Drunk Duck as well as a kind person and friend.
I'm sad to see you leave. I hope you'll come back and visit from time to time. I'll always keep a good thought for you.
Thanks for allowing us into our world - and thanks for being...YOU!
Well it's sad to see you go. This was truly a great webcomic, it was interesting, funny, saddening, uplifting... Hell, it pretty much hit every emotion on the spectrum. Thanks for a wonderful story of facts and fiction.
The whole "being an open book" really tore away at me when I had a weblog, public "space/book" profiles and other sites for years and years...Whether you choose to leave permanently or just temporarily, it was really fun checking your site on a day to day basis.
we'll miss you Tera :D You're a beautiful person inside and out. Maybe someday, we can go out for coffee and talk about things like nice young ladies :3 Till then, please keep in touch :D
Couldn't ask for more than what you shared with us. For the better or for the worse, your comic took courage. And I respect people who can bare their souls regardless of potential consequence.
100 is a good number to stop at (not that I want you to stop or anything). I wondered what it was like to share such deeply personal things on a fairly regular basis. Now I know.
Feel free to keep hanging out at Due East (and the other fine comics here). I'm glad to count myself among your friends.
Be well! And do stay in touch.
Sorry to hear that you're leaving us Tera...this was one of the highlights of my day. Thank you for sharing, for bearing your soul and lifting us up.
If ever you miss us...we're always here for you!
We hope that you will come back to us...if not, then God Bless, and here's hoping that you find your way in life!
If nothing else stay in touch!
If you're ever up near Fresno, give me a PQ...I'll treat you to lunch/dinner.

Thanks for all you've done. A drink will be raised in toast, and the door kept open should you return.
