I decided to take a break from the “Awesome” series with today's comic. This joke came to me out of thin air.
If you don't get it: the Donkey is the symbol of the US Democratic Party, the major liberal US political party.
Originally, I had planned to make it an elephant (the symbol of the US Republican Party, the major conservative US political party) but I decided that the donkey was funnier. Here was the original dialogue:
“WHATCHA GONNA DO NOW? EH? YOU'LL… errh… BAN GAY MARRIAGE, HUH? THIS IS WHAT YOU CONSERVATIVE TYPES DO, HUHH?!”
“Or maybe you'll go CUT TAXES, HUH?! OR MAKE WOMEN GIVE BIRTH?! HUH?! YEAH! YOU WANNA BAN ATHIESM, HUH?! BAN SCIENCE, EH!!!!?”
On second thought, “ban science” is pretty funny. Maybe I should have stuck with the elephant.

@Jules: I can understand the reasoning behind that, but I'm going to have to NO that one. Part of the style of the series is that it's like the characters ARE sketches on a piece of paper, rather than the comics being drawn representations of characters.

It's okay, I just suggest drawing it on computer paper instead of lined paper.
