Puzzle Month Continues ‘Chum Fans!
So far we’ve got two lucky winners for the word find puzzle contest. That leaves 8 more FREE comic books waiting to be scooped up by you word find fiends. I know what you're thinking … you can just read it all here for free. But, the printed preview comic is free too! The puzzle is fun. And the printed comic has a really nice extra info page on Superchum himself and what he can do, “Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe” style. So it's just win, win, win all around.
To tide you rabid ‘Chum fans over during Puzzle Month, I’m updating this week with a test of your Chumly Knowledge and Friendly Prowess. This crossword puzzle is for the hardcore Superchum fans. The ones who know their chumliness backwards and forwards. Each clue relates to something that's happened on this very site, in these very pages.
Next week Puzzle Month will continue with a really cool maze I have planned. And it all builds up toward the grand Thanksgiving Day Finale, where the winners of the contest will be announced and the answer keys revealed.
Oh, and when we return to the comic proper after all of this puzzle madness, brace yourselves for an epic ride. I finally finished the sketches for the transition pages that were holding me up. I now know how the next chapter begins.

Oh wow, what an amazing surprise! Thank you Drunk Duck for the feature! And thank you everyone for the congrats. This pretty much made my day. To answer your question hp, I totally cheated and used a generator. It still took awhile to get it to look remotely proper though. My first attempt was god awful wrong. The word-find I did from scratch, but I've done them before and really like doing those, so it was a tad easier to get that right. I'd never done a crossword before. So a co-worker told me about a site his kids used for school, and it helped a lot.

I wish I had time for a crossword puzzle. Regardless, pretty cool. How did you make it though? Some sort of generator, or just good old fashioned photoshop?
