Strip 40: Her Crime Was Lack of Foresight

This isn't relevant to the strip, but I showed the first few strips to my mom, and her response was “There’s a metaphysical ennui that permeates the mundane yet otherworldly story, as if the characters are indeed trapped in a convenience store with an oracle pointing to an inexorable, inevitably banal future.” She's not wrong.

If you're wondering why all of the strips involving the HSC get posted at like 9:30, it's because of the lighting, which is achieved by putting it in front of a sliding glass door…at night. So I need to wait for night to take the picture, and I can't make the comic before taking the picture.
