Of course Val had a codon chart on them. Who doesn't? Some kind of unprepared person?

In retrospect it probably would have been a good idea to have Teddy still have the broom with him, but I didn't want to delay the strip even more. Either he put it away offscreen for some reason or he has a magical invisibility broom. (Presumably Tetra found it.)
