9. Alien Abduction

This one's oddly dialogue driven when you consider that it's supposed to be a three panel gag strip. Those in the know would tell me that this medium is best suited for sight gags and one liners.

But hey, it is what it is.

The background took more effort than I thought it would. I originally intended for the pink to just stand alone since I was too lazy to draw the interiors of a UFO. But, well, I thought that wasn't enough. So, I added a lil' Kirby Krackle to the top.

The Kirby Krackle, however, had too much of a sharp contrast to the white around it. It began to be distracting, which is pretty much the exact opposite of what this background is supposed to do. So, I whipped out my greytone markers and that was that.

In retrospect, it's a little surprising that it took me nine whole strips to get around to an anal penetration joke.
