What is that pendant our mysterious friend is wearing? It looks ... oddly familiar ... ??
Druchii at 8:42AM, May 23, 2008
The last panel is great! Great angle, mood, and just a cool FEEL to it.

Muntron: tomorrow all answers shall be answered, or will they? HEHEH! No seriously, at long last the mysterious stranger will introduce himself!
Doctor Shadow at 2:04AM, April 23, 2008
JustNoPoint: I've always maintained that Hestonia is a mix of several different cultural and architectural regions depending on where you are in the world. In Sullavale Port you're likely to find a very medieval style look to everything, with splashes of earn Rennaisance style clothing and designs. In the Holy City of Messania, it's Greco Roman architecture with definitely Ren style clothes, perhaps some Byzantian and so forth. In the City of Wyrden, the architecture varies based on what circle of the city you're in as well as the clothing.

That last panel is epically awesome. I wonder whats going to happen next in this story! TELL ME!!!

Another brilliant page. What sort of references do you use for this "time period"?

Steely: I could have probably used a ... instead, though the stop is a little harsher than that, but not a sudden I think, Kalon have given her a slight pause for thought. I don't think she's quite sure what he really means there.
Steely Gaze at 12:45PM, April 21, 2008
Oh, thanks for the clarification, Doc. I had gotten slightly confused due to the comma before the 'He'. I was unsure if she was referring to our mysterious friend or something else. Sorry for my thickheadedness!
Doctor Shadow at 11:40AM, April 21, 2008
amanda: he really needs a name, fortunately he has one...you'll find out the name soon as well! Yeah, I love Reva's little touches like that. Kalon has changed from her original picture of him (that you won't have seen) I might put that up on the forums at some point.
amanda at 10:07AM, April 21, 2008
Good, now our stranger is getting involved (directly) with the conversation. I like Kalon's hair band.
Doctor Shadow at 2:12AM, April 21, 2008
ttyler: Glad you're hooked, it's going to get more interesting soon. Time is passing, the ladies are still in trouble! DAJB: Those two panels are quite disturbing, even to me! Steely: Kalon usually sounds sinister, even in the book he's not really good at being a people person. The barmaid on the other hand, she's alluding to the fact that whilst they have not yet addressed their new friend (and she seems to know more about him than Kalon) they're talking about him whilst he's sitting right there in earshot.
Steely Gaze at 5:23PM, April 20, 2008
Hmm, are they meant to sound as sinister as they do? What does our lovely lady mean in panel two? I'm not sure I understand, but it sounds like there are darker implications with what she says... Great detail in the last panel, especially the pipe for some reason. It just stands out to me as something most people would ignore.
DAJB at 12:42PM, April 20, 2008
You know ... on a stand-alone basis, those first two panels are quite disturbing! ;-) Looking forward to seeing where this latest turn of events may take us!
ttyler at 10:49AM, April 20, 2008
This story is flat out intriguing!!! I'm hooked!!
