Steely: Morgan may well be easily distracted, yet Kalon's on the case. I'd say most of the 'immediate' threats are dealt with in the house of Leyland right now...as for the Inquisitor and her cronies, well, wait and see. amanda: Scar's in no fit state to actually search for Leyland's family. Kalon does actually trust Verity to be able to protect him if trouble arises. I can imagine that kid's in a lot of pain right now, since it's not really a flesh wound.

That is one rubble-filled room! Maybe Kalon just trusts Verity to keep Scar safe if there should be more trouble? I can't help but wonder why all of them aren't going in search of Leyland's ladies - I don't understand the reasoning for leaving people in Leyland's study. *shrug* I'm sure Kalon has a reason - he's a smart kid.

Well, most of the baddies are dead, so that should make their job potentially easier. But where the heck are the Church Inquisitor and her cronies? They must be getting closer by now.... Morgan seems to be having too much fun playing with Kitty. Look, I'm glad the cat's fine as well, but do try to remember you're standing in a room filled with dead people! :P
