Here we have just a tiny glimpse into the mind of Avala Vara. Her ability to track down clues and link information is quite legendary in the church, whilst not as sharp as Kalon she is still a formidable force.

might as well light a signal flare

trevora: They do indeed, that is the very same bullet tip that clove through the shot and the young guard, entered the wall and by that time lost enough kinetic energy to stop. If a metal shot pellet isn't going to stop a tech-magis round, human skull and plaster/wood isn't going to put a dent in one.

Don't bullets fire the tips, which melt or smash upon impact? Just a thought about her pulling out a full bullet like that.... Love the artwork and investigation from the past few pages, as always. Keep this story coming!

Anonymous: Thanks...whoever you are. amanda: Good question. Crimson: Thanks! Harry: she is pretty good yeah. Azarr: thanks Adam: it is! albone: In a world where science can defeat magic, those equations are important but they also mean it's easier to track.
albone at 9:08AM, Jan. 15, 2009
Oh man, not such a bright idea to use such pretty ammo now, is it? Smart chica!

She's good.

She's way too clever for her own good. I wonder if Kalon left any red herrings? He probably didn't have time.
