Chapter Three: Page 34
Doctor Shadow on Feb. 1, 2009
This marks a turning point for Reva's style. From now on the comic will be done in the brush ink/water soluble pencil art-style and remain digitally lettered by me.
As you can see here Reva has done a stunning job of bringing Talon's wonderful vessel to life as it comes for a landing at the port. Kalon as usual is non-plussed at seeing such a ship.

Great composition and pushing the stylistic envelope too! You go, Reva!

Like, ... yet another "wow".
Adam Black at 10:32AM, Feb. 2, 2009
Damn, Reva. Just DAMN. And now you must do a picture of my favorite naked werewolf girl in this style. Or else I will cry.

ipokino: Thanks! Saul: many thanks dude! steak: Heh, perhaps for the 200th! Tashna: Hi there, it seems Reva's answered this one. So thanks! albone: He travels in style. To give you an idea of the Reaver's size, check out the Airbus A380, it's about as big. Elaine: It's very strange for me as the writer to see these characters come to life in a different style. Thanks!
Reva Flynn at 5:08AM, Feb. 2, 2009
Thanks for the positive comments:) In reply to Tashna, all my artwork is done free hand with a pen/pencil/ brush. I do not use a computer for drawing or shading as I am throughly inept with such things;) Killersteak, maybe I will do a colour one for the next milestone;) However, considering the amount of free time I don't have I doubt I could manage colour on a regular basis and keep up with the twice weekly schedule;)

It's so lovely and strange to see familiar characters rendered differently.
Tashna at 5:03AM, Feb. 2, 2009
I love it. (last part didn't make it into my comment. ^^
albone at 5:02AM, Feb. 2, 2009
Really beautiful work. I like how Talon rolls.
Tashna at 5:02AM, Feb. 2, 2009
Inking by hand?
