Hopefully this update gives you an idea of the sheer scale of the Mist Reaver. In this case the small cat on Morgan's shoulder is definitely not going to be able to eat this bird.
Azarr: Thanks!
ipokino: Yeah, it's not easy to do at all, she did it really well though :)
kyupol: haha
Starwolf: thanks :)
Adam: I love it :) I love this new style to bits.
albone: thanks very much!
JnP: Welcome back, yeah, there's a rule of only one feature per comic though. Thanks for the love though it's appreciated!
Loud_G: Haha, you never know what Kitty is up to! All hail KITTEH!
Steely: Welcome back, wondered where you'd got to like JnP. Morgan has an announcement to make soon, don't miss it! Reva is very happy with this new style as well.
Holy smokes! I miss a week of updates and come back to find an absolutely gorgeous new artistic style for the comic! I thought the heavy inking was good, but this is just beautiful! The painted feel is just so wonderful.
I love Morgan's flip lines. He always seems to have a bit of a jocular quip for anything. :D
And now I'm caught back up again!
Loved the huge wolf many pages back. That was really intense.
And the new art is exceptional. This comic needs to be featured again to show off the new art. It blows away the old work and the old work is hard pressed to be blown away by anything.
Well done on the art update Reva!!! And Doc Shadow, I'll be following once again ^_^
Well, from comments I would say Reva managed to thoroughly convince us readers of the sheer size of this construct. Well done. Scale is very hard in small pages and panels!!!
Correct Void. With normal landing legs and a plane, yes, there is likely to be a furrow or two. The Reaver takes off/lands via VTOL. The spread bird's feet don't tend to leave heavy marking on a hard surface. If it were mud or snow, then you'd get some severe degradation of the ground.
If we show a panel or two of the ship taking off. Then you'll see the marks where it was, but no great destruction.
dragonrider: The Reaver is around the size of the Airbus A-380. The Church of Progression's Aurus Lux is...a lot bigger...the Reaver could probably land on it and rend the armour/metal with those talons however.
Ah Methinks the Mist Reaver might be just a tad larger than Herselfs Church Ship. However does it carry heavier armor, firepower and serve as a mother ship for smaller fighting craft also?
Lilac: Hello there and thanks. I can't take any credit for the art, however I'm sure Reva will be overjoyed!
ghostrunner: You might need stronger teeth ;)
M0rgan: cheers for that!

Don't listen to him, kitty. You can do anything you want! Even Kalon disapproves of Morgan's holding Kitty back ^.^

Makes me wonder how come there ain't a bit of destruction around where those legs have landed. o_O
