ghostrunner: There's an art to verbal banter, both Kalon and Silver are good at it.
Midge: thanks man!
Adam: uh-oh, what're you pondering...
Zeph: cheers!
Loud_G: It certainly will!
albone: I should run a poll *grin*
JNP: You raise an interesting point. Silver comes from kelanari stock, her upbringing as a lady of note meant that she ended up with the social mores and nuances of a noble. Kalon's impeccable manners and his archaic mannerisms stem from being educated by the CoP at a very early age. He's also an imperior bloodline and that also accounts for a lot of his dialogue. So far we've only really seen the noble lot or those who're well educated, to that end the dialogue has been focussed on a very prim-proper kind of speech. Wait until you get to Wyrden ;)
Starwolf, Fao: thanks!
tim: thanks buddy :)
I just thought about people trying to talk to each other like this nowadays.
I wonder if everyone really talked so proper back then or if that's just a propaganda of "How much simpler and better things were"
Great dialogue none the less!
uh oh, members of a church who turn away from it completely tend to get violent (or at least very antagonistic) against their old faith. For one so high up to lose faith would certainly lead to some interesting events in the future
ipokino: Oh Kalon has a lot to be annoyed about.
Peipei, M0rgan, Azarr: thanks!
harry: It goes beyond having a mind of his own, you'd need to read the book to get it.
repoman: Many thanks and welcome to Wyrden!

I suspect remaining skeptical is a wise policy. Everyone here has at least three hidden agendas!

Nice ink washes. I really dig the subtext concerning religion as well. Favoritized.

Time will tell...but then, if it is true, Kalon has LOTS to be angry at the Church for!!!
