Chapter Eleven: Page 10

Page 10 of Chapter 11. I love this page so much. Reva's managed to capture the surprise of the character really well here. I love the way Adam catches her cigarette. Boy it gets confusing calling Reva the artist, Reva you know.
Still, Reva is Gill's character from way way back used with her permission and adapted for Wyrden.
Stick around to find out how Adam plans to steal the ship. Reva's reply is of course going to be interesting!
Thanks very much for your support, it means a lot to us.

Heh, I still don't get the "quantify" thing. The only meaning of the word I know of is that it puts a number or amount to something. So he's not going to tell her how much or how many times he'll "fuck her", because she knows what he'll say? That seems like a really strange thing to say. Then again, English isn't my first language, so perhaps this is just one way of using the word that I've never come across before.

Peipei, Zeph: many many thanks Gillsing: What Reva said in reply. Jamie: Reva is full of bad habits. repo: thanks man! M0rgan: cheers! Fao: Indeed she does!

Well, now Reva knows the beginnings of the plan.

I really dig these two characters.

That can be a very inviting bad habit in a lady.

Nope should be quantify, in this instance. Adam was responding to Revas "Fuck me" statement.

I didn't catch him catching the cigarette, because I wasn't really thinking about it. I was looking at words, and I don't quite understand what Adam means by "quantify that with an answer". Should it be "qualify"? And what was the question? Did he think that she wanted to have sex again, and that was his way of saying no? Or at least "not right now"?

Tantz: You never know with Reva, you never know. She's fond of using Fuck Me when she's surprised. As an aside, I had to explain that the word Fuck has been used well before the modern age to a few people, who thought it was anachronistic in regards to the comic.

It could have been an indirect invitation. :p
