Early morning update. I thought I was late to update, but now I realize I was not… Well, in my defence, I've been caught up in playing Lighting Returns the entire day after abandoning it since the update before last update. Also kinda too tired to resume the rant. Let's just say that the game has gotten a lot of smiles out of me today. About as much as it enraged me. There's a good deal more I could say about the new combat system, and the story also grinds my gears in some way, especially with the characters - who have done a splendid job at showing emotion and getting the player to actually delve into the story TWO times before - not being able to get that story told properly. Side mission assignments take, like, a damn year to be told, everything that's been said, be it obvious as it may, has to be repeated by everyone AT LEAST 5 times, and that overall Lack of emotion because plot says so is only half true, but true enough to flip me off.
