I won't deny that.
Just pratice on the tails, and try to lose the color coded as it conveys emotion too much. You also might want to be careful about using dark backgrounds like starlight zone's with the black gutters (or borders, depending on your terminology), as it blends into each other too much.
yeah i see your point... but i was using the colour coded text for a reason, so people would know whos talking...im not much dgood at the bubles thing...but ill try it next comic k? -wishes i could pull out a gun 8times bigger then my body outta my pocket-
you gotta admit...that would be cool xD
You really need to work on somethings with this comic to make it a tad more understandable. Try using text bubble's with tails that point towards the characters. And don't get me wrong with that gun. It annoys me when sega pulls stuff like that too. It's just VERY odd that the thing is 8 times the size of his body and can do the same thing here. It works well in video games, but for a comic, it conflicts with logic.
theres this thing in sonic (cant remember its name, ah well) where amy can put hwer hammer, shadow can put his guns, sonic can put his rings etc. the holding hand things displayed that sonics evil counterpart had just touched the good sonic, meaning a mind battle to occur.the purple voices were in sonic heads...his delusional.
I couldn't understand anything that just happened. The story doesn't even try to play out. It's just one random event in one panel that barely translates over to the next panel's random event. The use of color coded text implys that shadow is mad, and that sonic is sad. Color coded text should only be used to express a tone in one's voice. However if it weren't for the color coded text I would have never figured out who was who. That being said, the lack of mouths play into the fact that I have no clue who the purple voice belongs to. And why is Sonic and that one guy shaking hands in the fourth panel? And whats the purple wavy thing for, and for that matter, what happened his gun? It's not like he can put it in a holster. Hell it's 8 times the size of his body! WHERE DID IT GO!? AAAAH!
