And now the building comes down! I had to look up images of building falling into sinkholes to draw the collapse. So, comics rarely have Earthquakes. How often do they actually have sink holes I wonder? Surely this was a naturally occurring phenomenon! More cameos today! This is the last page of them but I do hope you stick around to at least see the final 2 pages of the issue coming next Tuesday and Thursday!
Very intense! I couldn't imagine enduring something like this after an Earthquake event. I've gotta give it to this girl, she has a lot of guts to be calling the shots like this! She's incredibly intelligent from what I collect.
I actually *try* to make my super powers have scientific "reasonings". The full extent of Rick's super speed hasn't been explored scientifically in the story yet. But when it's explained I'm hoping stuff like this will seem more plausible! Including but not limited to how he isn't hurting the others near him and/or himself as he does this stuff. What with general frictions, body limitations, etc...
I find standing up in 30+ just wears me out. Also, it was on the beach, so the sand and salt in the air is probably a big factor. XD Basically, any particle in the air just slams you.
Interesting. I'm just curious because I've had to ride in the back of trucks for extended period when I was younger (don't ask). Though I could have been pulling myself out of the wind before it became an issue?
I don't remember it that vividly. Just that I don't remember it ever hurting :P
I have gotten burns in 45 mph wind, but usually over a few minutes exposure. We had to close the lighthouse platform any time the wind was higher than 39 mph because it could knock children down.
Would you get a wind burn from going 70 tops? And I doubt he's even going that fast cause he could really hurt someone if he accidentally rammed them!
But if they did it's better than staying in the sinkhole building crash I'd think! :P

She's definitely someone you want around in a crisis! A day like this would be an emotional roller coaster for sure!

Remember: natural physics only apply when convenient in a comic…

Uh oh... Also, now everyone Rick carried also has wind burns. ;)
