A true Martial Artist once said about Black Belts and all; "Do you measure ones learning and experience by the color of his socks? A belt is for holding up ones pants." True the T'Shin Wahg Lo awards sigils for completion of training but the monks would agree that true lessons are learned by going out and applying what you've learned in the outside world. Smorty had the potential to be a Grandmaster, but chose to learn more from the outside world.
