I know we're using cartoon logic here, but in real life hypnotism won't work on an unwilling subject. Even when someone goes along with it, I've seen individuals 'cheat' (they trying to screw with the hypnotist) and resist a post-hypnotic suggestion. (The suggestion was only partially successful).
