Orn was badly disfigured many many many years ago if you remember the flashbacks several hundred pages back. x.x It will be explained much better over at the story eventually :3.

Ha! So they're human after all. I was starting to doubt for a while there. And Julien, it's definitely a surprise to see a familiar face under there. This seems to be heading toward violence pretty fast.

Orn's pretty good-looking for someone who's "disfigured." Of course I think my idea of what's attractive might be a bit skewed. Living in the city? I guess it depends on which city-- if it's the Orwellian nightmare world city, which I assume it is, there's plenty I can find wrong with that. When I get around to writing my fictional dystopia travel guide the rating for that's gotta be at least seven crapsacks.

Living in the city sucks. Sirens going all night long. Air smells like crap. There is never darkness. And you get robbed. Well, I got robbed. On the other hand, rural life is BOOOOORING.
