Hi!
Hayate is still wondering about his wounds. He's been through hard times:
He was beaten by 2 vampires, while he was dealing with life-death stuff, the girl that has stealed his attention was having a good time with her best friend. Then the redhead girl destroys an umbrella in his head not without swearing at him a lot (and also, she charges the cost of the umbrella to him), the aforementioned girl also teases Hayate until he loses control causing damage to her. That leads him to shed some tears, plus he tells the girl that he loves her… but the girl was unconscious.
Later, the girl touches him while he's sleeping and at the meantime he's having a nightmare. His body refuses to heal and… he's naked and don't know where his clothes are (sorry, but sometimes I abuse my characters).

Sounds like those vamps that are after Hayate can inflict mortal sustaining wounds....

Totally true, if the "health" of the vampire isn't good... strange things would happen.

His wounds aren't healing? It would be quiet a twist if Hayate's vampirism went on Hitomi thus making Hayate a human. I don't think there is going back to being human after becoming a vampire though

I believe maybe his brother or his mentor has the answer to why his body won’t heal? Or maybe cause he hasn’t taken enough blood.
