I have no idea if a door would bust up like this if punched by someone strong and tough enough, but hey, it's a dream, right. I really wanted Kimber Lee to punch Eli's face in, but she wouldn't cooperate.

The nice thing about dreams is that they can be as surreal as you like so though I'm pretty sure a door wouldn't break up like this it's still a powerful image and a great piece of art. Incidentally my brother and me pushed a bed up against the door once when my dad was in one of his 'moods' and he pushed so hard against the door trying to force it open that it left a permanent curve in the door after! That was just a plain hardboard door which was hollow inside though so he could easily have kicked holes in it, except that fortunately he respected the house and furniture more!

True. Movie particle-foam doors for the win :) As for as self control, would most people really bash in the head of someone they had under their complete control, especially if that person 'had it coming?' Sometimes I like to think that we all have more self control that we think, but then, those studies that show how authority figures can easily coerce the majority of normal people into hurting other makes me question that -- see Craig Zebel's film "Compliance" *shivers*

Door's always do that in movies. She has more self control that most. He had it coming.
