That's really good. I try to use refs as much as possible as it helps keep me on the right track with my art and saves time too.

I did a parody of this, too. In my case it was someone awake, muttering swearwords to himself. The beauty of parodies is that each one is a fresh new interpretation of the original. That's why I love this one.

Thanks plymayer, I like how this one turned out. It looks cleaner and more defined than my regular pages. For me, getting a full webcomic page out in a timely manner mean sacrificing a bit of detail, maybe not fixing a proportion or expression or two. I envy you guys that get out well-proportioned panels (colored even) relatively quickly. Practice, practice, right...

I did a spaceman version of this as a painting when I was in junior high school. Tried doing an updated one from time to time with little success on my part. I like yours. Your characters are always very emotive. She's very contemplative in this one.
