Haha, considering Drunk Duck downtime, Kimber Lee's been in the woods for about two months - no wonder she's hungry :)
.
And what about her tactics to try to evade any hypothetical tracking dogs that might be on her trail?; I did a little bit of research and honestly don't know if anything she's doing would really work. According to one source, a tracking dog was able to tell when someone got into a car, then apparently it was able to track where the car was driven, onto a major highway, then which exit ramp the car took… WOW! Escaping one on foot is considered pretty much impossible if the dog is trained well enough. So, even though Kimber Lee can do some superhuman feats, it may be that her best chance is they don't use dogs at all. We'll see where it goes…
.
Artwise, I still like watercolor, but I tried fidgeting with some saturation sliders after scanning it in. Colors really pop out now - I'm mixed on how much I like them. And grass, I don't know what I'm doing wrong painting grass. Some tutorials suggest using a fan brush, but I CANNOT get those to work right. Oh well, I figure something out… eventually… :)
.
Thanks for reading everyone

This business of comic time over real time is always an awkward one. I've often cringed to think that a weeks holiday in the comic can take almost two months to cover in real time.

Thanks Peipei - yeah Kimber Lee has become 'one' with the woods haha. Also, her body patches itself up rather quickly. If she seems nonchalant about it, she's used to having the exact same thing happen in dreams, and while she's giving some thought to maybe she's not dreaming, she hasn't had time to really sit still and let it sink in. Getting shot at and escaping through the woods will do that :). But she will contemplate it - at some point...

I love how much of a wild woman Kimber is in these past couple of pages :3. Good to see that she got on well after that tree accident.

Thanks Szyszka666 :) I figure if I put in enough detail maybe people are less likely to notice when I paint outside the lines :))

Wow, every panel is like a single picture. So detailed... :)

Hey Paul - Thanks! No I currently don't post anywhere else. I was going to give the Duck another week or two and then put it on ComicFury or something. And I still may go ahead and do that... as a backup. What alternate site do you guys recommend?

I can't tell you how I missed this comic! Just in case the Duck gets lost in the woods again: do you also post it somewhere else? Googling it didn't really get any results.

Hmmm.. organic and wet... That's pretty cool! Thanks :)

Looks excellent. The woods feel organic and wet...and you're right; Kim's been wandering for a LONG time!

Thanks Plymayer - can't say how much your constant support is appreciated :)

I'm enjoying both the artwork and the story.
