You're right Peipei. My Dad ran over his Chocolate Labrador with his truck, made some very nasty wounds. But he would let my Dad change bandages (that would stick to the wounds and was obviously painful).
It's kinda not possible to save a wounded animal unless its your pet or something (my cat got some nasty deep cuts from getting in to a cat fight and he was perfectly okay with me nursing his wounds).
Poor wolf :(...
@Plymayer: Indeed. Animals are supposed to be able to detect things like ghosts (according to lore and movies) - why couldn't they detect an alien 'presence'? And the tramp-stamp tatoo haha. Yes, it's been visible several times now (even very early in the comic), though perhaps not as blatant as this page. Kimber Lee had it done years ago. Perhaps she was a little inebriated at the time :) Sometimes she likes it - other times; regret city. It's why I've never personally had a tatoo - even though I think I'd love one. I just can't find a design that I 'know' I'd love when in my 60s.
Indeed, Szyszka, that is a truism of the wild. Still, it's gotta make you feel awful if you're trying to rescue something and you essentially just succeed in killing it sooner. Well, there's is mercy in that; ending suffering and all... but still...

@jgib99: Yeah, sometimes there's just no easy way out - but then, this scene isn't exactly over yet ;)

Nice tattoo too. As a gentleman I've been trying to ignore it. But it's right there in panel three. Love the layouts you do by the way.

Its a shame that it happened, but she had to defend herself.

I tend to think the wolf was afraid of the "thingamagigee" inside her more than anything else. It could probably sense she was different.

True, Banes, but good luck convincing her... :/

Poor thing. But it's not your fault, Kim!

They were both fighting for lives. The stronger one won, that's how it works in the animal world.
