Well, that's round one…! Soccoro's obviously being a little bitchy. You can't offer someone sanctuary and then gripe about them making things difficult for you (unless they vastly understated their reasons for needing to stay). Adding to that: enjoying the fact they desperately need you. Yeah… at little bitchy

I think Socorro is one step closer to forgive Kim :) She's not nice but she still cares for her friend's safety. And she also has gorgeous legs! :D

@Peipei: Yes it is very big of Socorro to agree to let Kimber Lee stay there, but if they can't work something out eventually, Kimber Lee might prefer to take her chances with the Agents and Snipers after her than continually get bitched at haha

Socorro is such a good friend, but I understand why she's a little pissed having Kimber hide out with her family. She's taking a huge risk but yea, like Kim says, as long as no one sees her or rats her out, they shouldn't have a problem. Also, cute baby!

@bravo1102: Thanks again! In 'graphical' stories, authors really should learn to let the images tell a lot of the story - using fewer speech balloons. As a jazz musician would say, sometimes 'Less is More'. I struggle with this - my pages tend to have 'talking' and 'thinking' all over the place, but I'm working on it, and at least with the panel you mention I sorta got it :)

The composition of the third panel told the story quite vividly. Sorocco going on about FB and how Emilio still loves Kimber Lee... and there's the baby in the corner. Great work there. Really says a whole lot without saying it.

@Banes: Thank you very much! Yeah, I like playing around with perspectives and unusual 'camera angles', even though they're much harder to draw. They just seem to make a page more dynamic and interesting. On an upcoming page I attempt a 'fisheye' view (google it if you don't know) - with mixed results haha

...i love the references to the 'Net and the fact that Socorro doesn't really buy the level of danger Kim's in. Very cool and realistic character behaviour!

i love that bird's eye view of Socorro. Nice! And the teases on this page (and in the commentary) are intriguing indeed! I initially assumed Socorro had a husband and was happy...then kinda forgot about it. Innnnnnnnnnnteresting stuff!

Socorro got issues and I got a feeling she's going to take them all out on Kimber Lee even the one Kimber Lee's got nothing to do with. Like where's the baby's dad? She get jilted again? Like Kimber Lee has this great relationship and she just has a baby? Hmmm something else going on here.
